The following violations result in immediate account termination with no refund. There are no warnings and no appeals on clear violations.
Exceeding contract limits Going over your account's maximum contract size at any time. 1 standard contract = 10 micros toward your limit.
Trading prohibited instruments Stocks, options, spot forex, crypto, CFDs, or any non-CME futures instrument.
Holding through news Failing to close all positions at least 2 minutes before a scheduled tier-1 economic release (FOMC, NFP, CPI, PPI, FOMC Minutes, etc.).
Tick scalping Entering and exiting trades in under 2 minutes. All positions must be held a minimum of 2 minutes.
Latency arbitrage Any strategy that exploits price feed delays, quote stuffing, or system latency to generate artificial profits.
Account sharing Allowing another person to trade your account or sharing your login credentials with anyone.
Cross-account copying Copy Trading Policy

✅ You can copy trade within your ONYX account using TradeSea
✅ Copy trading from an external signal provider into your ONYX account is allowed
❌ Cross-account hedging — placing opposite positions across two ONYX accounts to manipulate risk metrics — is not allowed
Exploiting system errors Taking advantage of platform bugs, pricing errors, or technical issues to generate artificial profits.
All-or-nothing sizing Placing your full maximum contract allocation into a single trade with no risk management structure.
Chargebacks without contacting support Initiating a payment dispute with your bank or PayPal without first emailing [email protected]. This is a material breach and results in a permanent ban.
Funded account inactivity Failing to place at least one trade per calendar week on a Diamond account. Accounts are suspended after 2 consecutive inactive weeks.
