How ONYX Futures accounts are managed: the dashboard sections, one-time purchase model, resizing rules, what happens on a failed evaluation, and how many accounts you can hold at once. Rules are scoped by product family: the Standard tracks (Sapphire/Ruby, Flex/Flex Funded, Gold/Platinum) versus Express to Live (Ruby-X and Platinum-X). Manage everything at dashboard.onyx-futures.com.

Buying and owning an account
Applies to both families (Standard and Express to Live). Every account is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no monthly or recurring billing, so there is nothing to cancel. Once you buy an account it stays yours until you pass it, breach it, or it is otherwise closed. Standard billing is a one-time fee via PayPal; the fee is non-refundable after credentials are issued. Do not conflate this one-time model with a subscription: there is no renewal charge on any account.
Changing account size
You cannot change the size of an existing evaluation on either family. To trade a different size, purchase a new evaluation at the size you want. What "size" means differs by family:
Family | Size means | Available sizes |
Standard (Sapphire, Flex, Gold) | Account balance | Flex 25K/50K/100K/150K; Sapphire 50K/100K/150K; Gold 50K/100K/150K/200K. |
Express to Live (Ruby-X, Platinum-X) | Drawdown / risk budget (not a balance) | $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $3,000. |
If you fail an evaluation
If you breach during an evaluation, that account fails. Your two options are the same on both families: buy a reset (restarts the same size with metrics cleared) or buy a new account. Both are one-time payments, and there is no limit on the number of resets. See current pricing at onyx-futures.com.
Express to Live specifics: a breach during either the evaluation or the buffer phase closes that account and is resettable. The evaluation and buffer are simulated. Only the Express to Live LIVE account trades real live capital, and reaching the live account is not a failure state.
How many accounts you can hold
The two families have SEPARATE caps. Do not add them together or apply one family's limit to the other.
Family | Maximum accounts at once | Cap is measured by |
Standard, non-Gold (Sapphire/Ruby, Flex/Flex Funded) | Up to 10 | Account count |
Standard, Gold track (Gold/Platinum) | Up to 5 | Account count |
Express to Live (Ruby-X, Platinum-X) | Up to 6 active | Combined drawdown, capped at $6,000 total (not by account balance and not by count alone) |
Each account is bought and passed on its own. For full Express to Live rules see Express to Live (Ruby-X and Platinum-X).
Do not conflate: Standard vs Express to Live account caps
Dimension | Standard tracks | Express to Live |
Max accounts at once | Up to 10 (up to 5 on the Gold track) | Up to 6 active |
What limits it | A fixed account count | Combined drawdown of $6,000 across active accounts |
What "size" is | Account balance ($25K to $200K) | Drawdown / risk budget ($1,000 to $3,000) |
