Platform & Trading Setup

Firm-wide platform and trading setup: Rithmic via TradeSea, Non-Professional Agreement first, login at tradesea.ai, credentials emailed within minutes, supported platforms, live CME data and TradingView. Identical for standard tracks and Express to Live.

Platform and trading setup for ONYX Futures accounts. This process is FIRM-WIDE and identical for both product families: the standard tracks (Sapphire/Ruby, Flex/Flex Funded, Gold/Platinum, plus the coming-soon Diamond live stage) and Express to Live (Ruby-X and Platinum-X). All accounts trade Rithmic, accessed through TradeSea, with live CME Group data and TradingView charting.

First Step: Sign the Non-Professional Agreement

Before you can log in to any supported platform, you must sign the Rithmic Non-Professional Agreement. This is required for every account type in both families.

Supported Platforms (firm-wide)

Connect any Rithmic-compatible platform. Confirmed supported platforms:

  • NinjaTrader 8 (most popular)

  • R|Trader Pro (Rithmic's native platform)

  • Sierra Chart

  • MultiCharts

  • ATAS

  • Any other Rithmic-compatible platform

Trading is manual only. Automated/bot trading is prohibited. Copy trading across your OWN accounts is allowed on any platform. The platform list is the same for standard tracks and Express to Live.

Getting Started After Purchase (firm-wide)

The setup sequence is the same for every account in both families. What you buy differs by family (see Do Not Conflate below), but the connection steps do not.

1. Buy

Complete your purchase at onyx-futures.com. For pricing, see onyx-futures.com.

2. Sign agreement

Sign the Rithmic Non-Professional Agreement (link above) if you have not already.

3. Get credentials

You receive an email with your Rithmic credentials (username and password) within minutes of payment being confirmed.

4. Log in

Go to tradesea.ai and log in with those credentials.

5. Connect platform

Connect your preferred Rithmic-compatible platform using the Rithmic connection settings.

Data and Charting (firm-wide)

Live CME Group data is included on every account, covering all major futures markets. TradingView charting is available. Instruments are futures only on CME/COMEX/NYMEX/CBOT plus micros (ES, NQ, CL, GC, etc.). Stocks, options, spot forex, crypto, and CFDs are prohibited and cause immediate termination.

KYC and Activation (setup-adjacent)

KYC timing

Firm-wide: KYC is required before your FIRST payout, not before setup. Government photo ID required. US traders submit W-9; non-US traders submit W-8BEN.

Eligibility

Firm-wide: 18+, most countries; OFAC-sanctioned countries excluded.

Activation fee, standard tracks

Sapphire has an activation option (free upfront vs charged on pass). Flex and Gold have no activation fee. Standard billing is a one-time fee via PayPal, no subscription. No amounts here; see onyx-futures.com.

Do Not Conflate: Standard Tracks vs Express to Live

The platform, portal, data feed, charting, agreement, and connection steps are identical across both families. What differs is WHAT you are buying and setting up. Full Express to Live detail is in Express to Live (Ruby-X and Platinum-X).
