Payout Rules

Standard funded payout rules (Ruby, Flex Funded, Platinum): weekly cadence, per-size caps, first-payout balance and winning days, consistency, and split bands, plus a separate Express to Live section.

Payout rules for ONYX Futures funded accounts. This article covers the STANDARD funded tracks (Ruby, Flex Funded, Platinum). Express to Live (Ruby-X and Platinum-X) uses a different payout model and is covered in its own section and article below. For how your share of each payout is calculated, see Profit Split Explained.

First-payout minimum balance (standard funded)

Before your FIRST payout only, your account balance must be at least the full drawdown amount above your starting balance. The required balance depends on the drawdown type: end-of-day trailing drawdown (Ruby and Flex Funded) or static floor (Platinum). Values differ between the two, so do not use one track's figure for the other.

Winning days (first payout, standard funded)

Consistency at payout (standard funded)

A payout consistency rule applies on some funded tracks. It is measured against your TOTAL net profit (net of commissions and fees); losing days reduce that total. If a single day exceeds the limit, the payout is held until trading balances out. It does NOT fail or breach the account.

Funded type

Payout consistency limit

Ruby

40% maximum from any single day

Platinum

40% maximum from any single day

Flex Funded

None

Note: the consistency percentages above are for the funded (payout) stage. Evaluation-stage consistency is separate (Sapphire eval 40%, Gold eval 40%, Flex eval 50%). See Consistency Rule for the full explanation.

Profit split bands (standard funded)

Your share of each payout is set by profit-split bands, the same on Ruby, Flex Funded, and Platinum. Standard funded profit split is up to 100%.

You keep

Under $1,000

100%

$1,000 up to under $2,000

80%

Exception - 25K accounts (Flex Funded only): the 100% tier is unavailable, so only the 90% band applies, and the per-request cap is $1,000. See Profit Split Explained for full detail.

Identity and tax verification (KYC, both families)

Before your first payout, you must complete KYC with a government-issued photo ID. US traders file a W-9; traders outside the US file a W-8BEN. Trading is never affected; only payout processing is gated. This applies to both standard funded accounts and Express to Live.

Weekly activity (standard funded)

A standard funded account must record at least one trade per calendar week (Sunday to Friday). Two consecutive inactive weeks suspends the account.

Rule compliance (both families)

Your account must be in full compliance with all trading rules at the time of request. Open violations will delay or block processing. Contact [email protected] before raising any billing dispute.

Express to Live payouts (Ruby-X and Platinum-X)

Express to Live is a SEPARATE program (brand names Ruby-X and Platinum-X; program name always "Express to Live", never "ETL"). Its payout model is different from the standard funded tracks above. Payouts apply only on the Express LIVE account (the evaluation and buffer stages are simulated and have no payouts; the live account trades real live capital). Full detail: Express to Live (Ruby-X and Platinum-X).
